FILIPINOS IN JAPAN HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH,

WE WANT CHANGE IN POLICIES AND THE RECALL OF ALL NEGLIGENT, INCOMPETENT AND ABUSIVE OFFICIALS OF THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE IN OSAKA!

Filipinos under the banner of MIGRANTE Japan demand change in the policies of the Philippine Consulate General’s Office in Osaka and the immediate recall of its incompetent, negligent and abusive officials, including Consul General Maria Lourdes Ramiro-Lopez, who incidentally is facing criminal and administrative charges before the Sandiganbayan for misrepresentation and falsification of personal documents.

Online Comlaint (Please pass to all your friends)

To all Filipinos in Japan :

We know that many of you have had many unpleasant experiences dealing with officials and rank and file employees at our Philippine Embassy in Tokyo and Consulate in Osaka . MIGRANTE JAPAN, an alliance of migrant Filipino organizations,  have been receiving similar complaints, and like you, we  also demand and aspire for change. However, genuine change is only possible if those affected speak up and collectively act as one.

Thus, we encourage you, your families and friends - people you know who have bad experiences with our embassy and consulate or complaints that you would like to address - to follow this link and to fill up our online affidavit of complaint form:

We will listen to your stories and deliver your complaint to the Senate Committee conducting hearings on the plight of overseas Filipino workers to raise our voices on issues and concerns that directly affect us and our families back home.

Hopefully, this initiative will help to end embassy and consulate policies that betray our true interests and add more burden to us; to recall erring officials and expel rank and file employees who are abusive and remiss of their duties and responsibilities; to reduce the cost of passport and other consular fees collected from us in exchange for run-of-the-mill services by our embassy and consulate; and for better and humane treatment of migrant Filipinos in Japan.

We also wish to say that MIGRANTE JAPAN fully supports the call for the establishment of a Consular Office in Nagoya .  We believe that this will help solve some of the problems and inconveniences of Filipinos, particularly those living in Central Japan, who often need to travel to Osaka to avail of Philippine consular assistance.  However, we believe that a new consular office in Nagoya will only be effective in addressing the needs and interests of migrant Filipinos in Japan if all the conditions set in our list of demands are met first. Otherwise, a new consular office in Nagoya will be as ineffective as its mother office in addressing the problems and concerns of migrant Filipinos in Japan.

PAGBABAGO, SA EMBAHADA AT KONSULADO NG PILIPINAS, NGAYON NA!IPAGTANGGOL ANG MIGRANTENG PILIPINO LABAN SA MGA TIWALING OPISYAL!

MAAGAP AT MAKABULUHANG SERBISYO, HINDI PANGINGIKIL AT PANG-AABUSO!

MANGAHAS LUMABAN, MANGAHAS MAGTAGUMPAY!
